Momoka (100 Days Old)

Today was Emily's Momoka or 100th Day Birthday. In Japan, you are served tai (sea bream) and sekihan (red bean rice) for health, luck, and to celebrate your special day. Yeah, I know, it isn't exactly a birthday cake with candles. It is just tradtion. Naturally, Emily did not eat any of her celebratory meal, but I did and it was really good! I think we should have more celebrations for Emily. Maybe some chicken katsu for her 101st Day Birthday and then spaghetti for her 102nd.
Look at her. Emily has grown up so fast and yet she still has so much more growing up to do. Already 100 days old and yet only 100 days old.
